Sapnay School of Dance - the performer

8 December 2006

What are you involved with Sapnay School of Dance?

I am a student of the Sapnay School of Dance learning all the different styles of dance taught at the School (Bollywood, Bhangra, Street and Hip Hop) and I am 9 years old. I am also part of Sapnay’s junior professional performing team.

What do you get out of it?

Not only do I get the continuous teaching to ensure that I develop as a good student and performer but I also become popular through performances with the Sapnay School of Dance.

Do you want to have a career in music/dance?

Yes I would like to definitely have a career in dance as a choreographer or take up singing and become a singer with great dancing skills.

What excites you about music/dance?

Performing for huge, live audiences excites me most of all.

What or who has helped you get where you currently are with your skill?

My teachers Ash Oberoi and Del Mak have helped me get my title as the first ever UK Bollywood Champion at the age of 7 years where I competed with children twice my age.
